                        Sweet Potato and Potato Chaat A delicious snack that is sure to be enjoyed by all! potatoes are a favourite with most people. This recipe uses both potatoes and sweet potatoes. These are cut into large cubes and threaded onto skewers and brushed with oodles of butter. These are then grilled to perfection in a charcoal or electric barbeque and topped with tongue-tickling chutneys. Aloo(Potato) Parantha

Extremely popular with North Indians, these are best eaten with chilled yogurt and your favourite pickle or chutney. Want to be naughty? Aaloo parathas taste delicious with fresh, thick cream or a knob of unsalted, home-made butter! Prep Time:  1 hour, 10 minutes Total Time:  1 hour, 10 minutes Ingredients: 5 medium-sized boiled, peeled and well mashed potatoes 2 tsps coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp turmeric 1 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 3 tbsps finely chopped coriander leaves 2" piece of fresh ginger grated fine 2 cups wholewheat flour 2 tbsps vegetable, sunflower or canola oil Water to mix Preparation: Put the mashed potatoes, coriander and cumin powders, cumin seeds, turmeric, chilli powder, salt to taste, chopped fresh coriander and grated ginger into a large mixing bowl. Aloo Tikki Burger (VEG.)

Ingredients: 2 Aloo Tikkis 2 Burger Buns 1 tablespoon Butter 1-2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup 2 Lettuce leaves 2-3 tablespoons Mayonnaise 1 large Tomato, cut into round slices 1 medium Onion, cut into round slices 2 Cheese Slices Directions :   Cut bun horizontally into two halves. Heat butter in a flat pan and shallow-fry bun halves until light brown.   Prepare the aloo tikkis by following the recipe .   Take bottom base of bun and spread tomato ketchup over it.   Place lettuce leaf followed by aloo tikki.   Spread 1-tablespoon mayonnaise over it.   Place 1-2 tomato slices and 3-4 onion slices in given order.   Finally place cheese slice over it.   Cover it with top base of the bun.   Aloo tikki burger is ready for serving.
