Masoor Dal Soup

Masoor Dal Soup Lose weight healthily with this delicious soup. Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes Servings: 4 Preparation Time: 15-20 minutes Category: Veg Ingredients • Split red lentil (masoor dal),soaked 1 cup • Onion ,roughly chopped 1 medium • Garlic,chopped 2 cloves • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon • Salt to taste • Tomatoes,roughly chopped 2 large • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons Method Heat a pressure cooker, add onion and garlic and roast for 2 minutes. Drain and add the split red lentils, 2 cups water, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix. Add tomatoes, cover and cook under pressure till 2-3 whistles are given out.Cool and put into a mixer jar and grind till smooth. Pour back into the cooker, add lemon juice and mix and bring it to a boil. Pour into bowls and serve.
