Apple Smoothie You can never go wrong with apples! you can confidently use apples in any smoothie, especially along with any fruit-based crush readily available in the market. Since both strawberry crush and vanilla ice-cream are used, there is no need to add any extra sugar for the apple smoothie. Preparation Time:  5 mins Makes 2 big glasses Ingredients 1 1/2 cups  chilled , peeled and roughly  chopped apples 5 tbsp   strawberry crush  4 tbsp  chilled fresh  curds (dahi) 1 cup   vanilla ice-cream For The Topping 4 tbsp   crushed ice Method Combine the curds, strawberry crush, vanilla ice-cream and apples and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and frothy. Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 2 individual glasses. Serve immediately topped with 2 tbsp of crushed ice in each glass.

Ice Bowls with Rose Petals Serves 4 Rose Ice-Cream served in Ice-Bowls (Gulabi Ice-Cream) Rose Water is a clear liquid, distilled from fresh rose petals, available at specialty stores and Indian grocery stores. A very exotic ice-cream which can be served at any occasion, served in ice-bowls. Serves 6 275 ml whole milk 4 large egg yolks 110 gm superfine sugar 284 ml heavy cream 3 tablespoons rose water  1. Heat the milk slowly in a pan to boiling point. 2. Meanwhile in a bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar together until smooth and foamy; pour the heated milk over the egg mixture, beating all the time. Return the mixture to pan and cook over a low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until it thickens slightly to form a coating over the back of the spoon (do not let it boil). 3. Anti Cholesterol Shake A combination of orange, papaya and banana blended together to make a filling drink that beats cholesterol! This unusual combination of fruits is rich in potassium, vitamin C and fibre. Banana is an excellent source of potassium, the deficiency of which is associated with the change in the normal pattern of the heartbeat. This shake satiates the hunger pangs while keeping the building up of cholesterol levels at all time low. Makes 2 small glasses (300 ml).  Ingredients 1  medium sized  orange, seperated into segments 1/4  medium sized  papaya, cut into pieces 1   banana, cut into pieces crushed ice  to serve Method HOPPER / JUICER Juice all the ingredients except bananas. Blend the bananas to a purée in a blender and add to the juice. Add some crushed ice in 2 glasses and pour the juice over it. Serve immediately.
