                  Tomato Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

  • (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion (about 1 large)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

Preparation


Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook, uncovered, 30 minutes or until mixture is reduced to 3 cups, stirring often.
