Batata  Poha ( Microwave Recipe) This flavoured snack is one of my favourites as it is very easy to rustle up for morning breakfast as well as for the evening tea. Preparation Time:  10 mins Cooking Time:  8 mins Makes 4 servings Ingredients 2 cups  thick  beaten rice (poha) 1/2 tsp   mustard seeds ( rai / sarson) 1/2 tsp   cumin seeds (jeera) 3 to 4   green chillies  ,  slit green chillies 1/2 cup   chopped onions 1/4 tsp   turmeric powder (haldi) 1/2 cup  peeled and finely  chopped potatoes 1 tsp   lemon  juice 1 tsp   sugar  (optional) 1 tbsp   oil salt  to taste For The Garnish 1 tbsp  grated fresh  coconut 1 tbsp   chopped coriander (dhania) Method Place the poha in a sieve and hold it under running water for a few seconds. Spicy Pineapple Curry Pregnancy Recipe This is a different way of adding fruits to your diet. Ripe diced pineapple is cooked with an aromatic blend of spices and simmered in coconut milk. The iron and the fibre levels in this curry are good and the coconut adds to the protein and energy content. If you are not fond of pineapple, add a cup of mixed vegetables like peas, carrots, potatoes to the same gravy, and you can also throw in a few cubes of pineapple, if you like. Green Chutney ( Chutney )

Green Chutney ( Chutney ) A refreshing combination of coriander and coconut, the green chutney goes well with dhoklas and other snacks. In most cases, chaats are also laced with green chutney. In all, it is very versatile and can be used as an accompaniment. Preparation Time:  5 mins Makes 0.5 cup Ingredients 1 1/2 cups  roughly  chopped coriander (dhania) 4   green chillies  , roughly chopped 1 1/2 tsp   lemon juice 1 tbsp   sugar 4 tbsp  freshly  grated coconut salt  to taste Method Combine all the ingredients in a mixer and blend into a smooth mixture, using a little water. Store refrigerated in an air-tight container and use as required.

Moong Dal Dhokla Moong dal dhokla, this is my favourite recipe. . It is very easy to make and a perfect snack recipe. . . Serve with green chutney and relsih it. .
